Recruitment – AV Installation Engineer

We have a vacancy for an AV Installation Engineer. Experience as an electrical engineer is ideal if you are looking to further enhance your skills and make the transition into the smart home industry.

IndigoZest have been established for 7 years and are a small but dynamically expanding CEDIA accredited Smart Home Company.

We have a showroom in Amersham, Bucks and a workshop in Watford, with plans to further our outreach in 2018.

Our clients are predominantly based around the three counties and North London. We are mainly focused on the residential market.

We keep ourselves in the know through education, certification, training courses and industry events.

About you:

We are looking for someone that enjoys working on client site first and foremost.

As an AV Installation Engineer, you should have the following experience and knowledge of:

• First fix cabling
• Mounting speakers, projectors, screens, racks.
• Good practical skills and an understanding of construction techniques
• Basic IT knowledge
• Full capability with power tools imperative; SDS drills and fixings
• Installation of AV equipment and home automation products.

A full Driving Licence is essential.

You may also have some of the following skills, but if you don’t, we will help train you in these:

• Control4
• Networking, IT Security
• RAKO, Lutron
• KNX
• Project Management

The role will initially be hands on and you will work closely with Nicolai, our Technical Director to gain invaluable knowledge and experience.

Once you are up and running you will be responsible for managing projects, drawings and scheduling of works and responsibility for growing and managing a team of technical staff.

Package £25K – £32K depending on experience
