For this project, our client’s primary goal was to create a home that perfectly balanced modern family living with cutting-edge, sustainable technology. With a young family to consider, the homeowners wanted a space that was not only intuitive and comfortable but also future-proofed, ensuring that their home could evolve with their needs over time.
A key focus was environmental sustainability. The client was committed to reducing their household’s carbon footprint by incorporating energy-efficient solutions and smart automation that would actively monitor and optimise energy consumption. From intelligent lighting and climate control to renewable energy integration, the system needed to be designed with both efficiency and ease of use in mind.

Lighting Design by Chhaya
Working closely with the project’s interior designer from the earliest stages, the lighting design needed to work in harmony with the home’s passive solar design, natural material palette, and low-energy ambitions.
Every circuit was planned around how daylight moved through the building across the seasons, especially in the light-filled open-plan spaces, considering both the addition of artificial light and control of natural light via automated shading.
Control was built in from the outset, allowing scenes to shift automatically with the time of day and giving the family a home that feels calm and considered, whatever the hour.
