Featured as part of larger home automation project this home cinema room showcases how smaller spaces can be utilised for an impressive cinema set up.
Despite it’s compact size, this room had a number of requirements in it’s brief, including enough seating for the whole family (4-6), a bar area with a fridge, and a high-quality audio system that replicated the experience received at our showroom.
Working with our design partners Cinema Luxe, we created a room that was able to meet these needs and wants, without comprising on the design or technical capabilities. Clever interior details, such as the floating acoustic side panels and lighting, create a sense of space in the room. Bespoke joinery provided useful shelving and a custom middle console unit which conceals two silent refrigerators. Whilst automated blackout blinds and curtains for both of the room’s windows ensure the room can transform and be movie ready in at the touch of a button.
The audio is the real star of the show, with 17 Artcoustic speakers elegantly integrated into the 5.8mx3.5m room, providing an immersive 9.4.4 Dolby Atmos surround system. The four subwoofers, two at the front and two at the back, provide the right balance for the room, ensuring both rows of seating have a great audio experience.
